The Rays Which Feel Like Home

The rays of the sun shine so very bright,
Binding us all in its intense light.
The nights shorten, giving way to the day,
As we dance with the water, by the bay.

In summer, all the flavors of ice cream,
Taste even better, like a dream.
In summer, going for a swim,
Refreshes the soul, from limb to limb.

With our loved ones, quality time is spent,
On a mountain, by the beach or even a camping tent.
Memories are made which we’ll never forget.
Full of laughter and cheer with no regret.

Each year is journey, with much love and fun,
With brand new roads and miles to run.
We cherish these moments, each better than before,
They remain in our hearts forevermore.
