Child Protection & POCSO Awareness

A comprehensive session led by Ms. Lena Dasgupta Basu and Ms. Ankita Adhikary strengthened teachers’ understanding of child psychology, student behaviour, and safeguarding practices. The workshop emphasised the importance of ensuring a secure learning environment while reinforcing educators’ roles and responsibilities in student well-being and development.

Social & Emotional Learning

Facilitated by Ms. Nivedita Bhattacharya, this session focused on nurturing emotionally aware classrooms. Through engaging activities, teachers explored ways to foster empathy, build positive relationships, and encourage effective communication among students.

POSH Awareness Workshop

Dr. Soma Roy conducted an insightful session on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, guiding faculty on maintaining a respectful and safe workplace. The session also highlighted appropriate conduct and the procedures for reporting concerns.

Child Psychology and Classroom Management

In this session, Ms. Nivedita Bhattacharya provided valuable insights into understanding child psychology and implementing effective classroom management strategies to enhance student engagement, behaviour, and overall development.

Handling Bullying in the Classroom

A dedicated workshop led by Mrs. Saba Islam equipped teachers with practical approaches to identify, address, and prevent bullying. The focus remained on fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and emotional safety within the classroom.

Brain Compatible Learning

The workshop conducted by Ms. Anjum Babukhan, an accomplished author and TEDx speaker, introduced educators to brain-based learning techniques. Her session offered valuable perspectives on aligning teaching methodologies with how students learn best, promoting deeper understanding and holistic growth in K–12 education.
